Communicate Christ to our world.

 Isaiah: 40- 66

Isaiah’s Gospel — The last section of Isaiah’s book (Chapters 40-66) is filled with comfort based on the return from exile, the servant who suffers for the nation, and a call to return to worship the One True God. Join in as we dive into God’s word together. All are welcome to this class.

Teacher:  Gail Mitchell

Room: Fellowship Hall (Lower Level)

Journeys

The Bible is the inspired Word of God to us.  It is expansive and cohesive.  One great and unified story of God interacting with humanity from the beginning to the end of time and beyond. It teaches us from the past, equips us for the present, and prepares us for the future. This is a chapter-by-chapter, chronological study through the entire Bible, linking it together as it happened.  We will see God’s consistent and mighty work, love, and faithfulness. We will find encouragement, strength, and direction to apply daily. This is the second quarter this class is being held. Jump in at any time. Reading Lists available.

Teacher:  Ernest Finklea

Room: Sanctuary (Main Level)

Touchy Subjects: civil conversations about the challenging issues of our day

A discussion-oriented class with weekly engagement of tricky topics including new definitions of racism, the ideological use of science, Christian views on the age of the earth, Christian responses to alcohol, engaging the LGBTQ revolution, occasions for civil disobedience, the pornography epidemic, gender roles in the church, life after Roe vs. Wade, the 2nd Amendment, and more.  Be ready to engage the day’s tensions with thoughtful analysis, pastoral guidance, and timeless biblical principles.

 Teacher:  Pastor Dan Gunderson

Room: 180 Worship Center (Lower Level)
