IMPACT (Middle School)

6th – 8th Grade Students
Tuesday Afternoon 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

IMPACT is a Middle-School outreach program seeking to introduce teens to a saving and thriving relationship with Jesus Christ.  A typical IMPACT afternoon balances informal social time (with snacks & games) with organized group activities, worship, prayer, Bible study and discussion.  Our theme this year is “Walk in love” from Ephesians 5:1-2.

Meetings take place Tuesday afternoons during the school year from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at WHBC unless otherwise stated. Transportation is provided from the Baraboo Middle School (pool entrance) at 3:25 p.m.  Parents should arrange for a pick up from WHBC at 5:30 p.m. (Note: If there is no school in Baraboo on a particular Tuesday, there is also no IMPACT.)

X-Change (High School)

9th-12th Grade Students
Wednesday 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Teens are constantly bombarded with changing perspectives about relationships, truth, identity and purpose that offer instant gratification and empty promises.  At X-Change,  high schoolers are offered the hope of the Gospel, the Good News about a Savior that will never leave us or forsake us.

Regular meetings are held each Wednesday during the school year from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m at Expeditions Unlimited.  Come join us for a time of fellowship, worship, time in the Word, and small group discussion as we seek to increase our faith and build the community of the people of God.

Youth Praise Band

“Flames Band”

Our Youth Praise Team is known as the “Flames Band.” II Timothy 1:6 tells us to “Fan into Flame the gift of God.”  The purpose of the team is to train and raise up future music leaders in the church; giving them the tools and skills it takes to lead an effective music ministry – as if we are fanning the flames.

This committed group of youth facilitates the contemporary worship music for Sunday worship service once per month.  Contact Tyson to learn more or to get involved.
